A Little Emery update and quick prayer request!

Good morning!

Whew, this pregnancy has flown by! And we're so thankful for friends and family like you who keep in touch and enjoy hearing about the little one's health and development. I'm praising the Lord for a healthy baby boy and pregnancy (but not to say I wouldn't be praising him if things were different, "In all things give thanks!").

A quick update: We had the 28 week midwife appointment last week and from here we're heading into the every 2 week appointments (it's really that time already??). Everything is going well and besides terrible sciatic nerve pain, I'm doing just fine. The baby is measuring a tiny bit ahead but we all know that doesn't mean much.

Prayer request:

  • At the moment, Emery is breech. He still has quite afew weeks to turn by himself but I notice he really loves putting his little head in my ribs constantly and is pretty comfortable staying put there. Since I'm small, he's running out of room to turn already and the midwife wants me to start working on turning him. So if you would just pray for his position to change that would be great!

  • My sciatica. It's been pretty debilitating these days. I do yoga to help stretch and while that's the only thing that helps me feel any better, it only lasts a few hours and then I am back to barely being able to walk much less carry Adelaide around or keep up with housework. Prayer that the pain would lessen would be appreciated or that I would learn to cope during these last few months! :D

Thank you SO much friends! Thanks for helping us celebrate the growth of our little family! We love and miss you and thank God for you!
