Emery's Big Welcome Party

Welcome all of Charity and Jordan's friends!

If you hadn't heard by now, Charity and Jordan are expecting their first little boy at the end of January. We are so excited for them and wanted to be able to celebrate the arrival of their second child with all of their friends. However, with their numerous moves in the past several years and the enormous number of friends their gregarious personalities have enabled them; it makes the task more difficult. So, we are going to celebrate in a tech-savvy, unconventional way.

This is baby Emery, the Nordic Warrior's baby shower blog. On this blog we will be playing fairly traditional baby shower games, post pictures of opening baby shower gifts, Charity will keep us up to date on Emery's adventures in utero, we will be able to see pictures of the little one when he is born, and Jordan and Charity will give us some post-partum updates on the little man. This way we will all be able to welcome Emery into the world with the love we all feel for Jordan, Charity, and, of course, big sister Adelaide.

The games will start on November 1, and a new game will be added every couple of days, so check often for new fun and chances to win. We ask that you mail all gifts to Charity and Jordan in time for them to open the girts on November 22. They will be taking pictures of opening the gifts and post them so that we can all participate in the "oohing" and "aweing" associated with baby drool tools. Remember that the blog will stay active after November 22 for updated information and pictures leading up to Emery's first month!

Links to the registries are listed at the bottom of the webpage. They are registered at Target and Amazon.com. For address information, email Charity at charitymjohnson@gmail.com

Come one, come all. Let's get this party started. May the games begin!

  2. What a neat idea! I do dislike always missing baby showerd for friends who live far away.

Johnsons-- I love Emery's name! It goes great with his sister's name :) I have heard an A and E "sib-set" once before and always loved it.

Hope the pregnancy is going great!
